A digital gift card valid to spend on this website. Check out the FAQ section at the bottom of this page for more information. These gift cards can only be used on our Ecommerce site. If you wish to purchase a Gift Voucher for admission to any of the York Archaeology Attractions this must be purchased separately on our admissions website. A Gift Voucher for our attractions and Gift Card for our shop cannot be combined.

Do gift cards have expiry dates?
No. Gift cards do not have an expiry date
Will I receive an actual card?
No. Gift cards are only available as a digital code via email.
Can I split an order between a gift card and a debit /credit card (via paypal)?
Yes. If an order total exceeds the value remaining on a gift card, the remaining balance can be paid using standard payment methods.
Can I use more than one gift card on an order?
Yes. Customers can apply multiple gift cards to an order.
Can I use less than the full value of my gift card?
When using a gift card, the full value of the gift card is always applied. It isn’t possible to partially redeem a gift card unless the order total is less than the gift card balance.
How are gift cards redeemed?
After a gift card purchase has been completed, the recipient (either the purchaser or the person the gift card was bought for) will receive an email containing a unique code that can then be redeemed on the JORVIK Online Shop to purchase products. The gift card code needs to be entered at the checkout.
Do sale pricing and discounts apply to purchasing gift cards?
No. Sales pricing and discount codes can’t be applied to purchasing a gift card. However, these discounts will apply to orders made using a gift card.
Can I get a refund on a gift card?
Yes. Unused gift cards can be cancelled and refunded. Partially used gift cards can't be refunded.
Can I receive a refund on purchases made with a gift card?
Yes. Refunding a purchase made with a gift card adds the refunded amount to the gift card's balance.
What if I lose my gift card code?
