Delivery

POSTAGE CHARGES

Please note that we are only able to deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom. Your purchase will be sent second class and will need signing for upon delivery. Gift cards will be sent to the email address you state during the checkout process.

All our online prices have handling & postage charges included on their list price. You may find the item cheaper in our gift shops to reflect the savings on this service. Telephone orders will be processed at the online prices to cover our postage and packing costs. We are currently only shipping online orders to UK addresses.

HANDLING & DELIVERY SCHEDULE

We are committed to dispatching items within ten working days but maybe longer due to COVID-19 restrictions. Delivery times will be between one to three days.

Payment Methods

All payments are handled securely through PayPal. For each transaction you will need to enter your PayPal details even if you have an account with us. No payment details are viewable by any member of York Archaeology staff at any time.

If you do not wish to use Paypal please either call 01904 543405 or email retail@yorkat.co.uk with your name, contact number and items you wish to purchase and a member of staff will contact you within the next 72 hours.

Unfortunately, we cannot take telephone payment for Print-on-demand products

The minimum order is £5.

Discount codes are only valid on purchases on the www.jorvikgroup.com website.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are an excellent present to give that friend or relative who is hard to buy for! Gift cards can be purchased for £10, £20, £50 and £100 values, and can be used to buy anything (except gift cards) on this website. Returns Policy

If you are not entirely happy with anything you have purchased from the online shop, please contact Customer Services within 14 days of delivery by email at retail@yorkat.co.uk. If you wish to report a fault or mistake, please include a photo if you can to illustrate the problem. Once you have been in touch, we will then give you individual advice on returns, replacements and refunds. For products printed-on-demand, refunds/replacements will only be considered if you have been sent a faulty product.

Please note: Unfortunately, for hygiene reasons, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on pierced earrings, unless they are faulty.

By creating an account, you can save shipping addresses, shopping carts, and order information, making for a faster checkout experience. Payment details will not be saved and need to be entered for every purchase you make. Only customers can edit their saved information as well as their email address and password.

How do I change my email address or password?

Customers needing to update their email address should create a new account. Customers can use the Forgot password? link in the Sign In window to reset their password. Passwords can only be reset when attempting to log into an account. The option to reset a password is not possible on the checkout page. 

Will orders made prior to creating an account or while logged out appear in my account?

No. Orders placed prior to account setup or while logged out will not be available to view in your account.
