Erik Bloodaxe Rules OK! Mug
Erik Bloodaxe Rules OK! Mug
The drawn illustration of Erik Bloodaxe’s face was used for many years as part of the JORVIK Viking Festival logo. Erik Haraldsson briefly reigned as king of Norway, and had two brief reigns as king of Northumbria. He was expelled from the city of York in AD 954, but is still celebrated as the last Viking King of York, despite his fearsome reputation as a Norse warrior – and gained him the moniker Erik Bloodaxe.
The Erik Bloodaxe Rules OK range was a best-seller for many years, and we are delighted to bring it back for the 40 th anniversary year.
The mug also features JORVIK Viking Centre’s anniversary logo for 2024, celebrating 40 years of wows!
