I was plundered from JORVIK Viking Centre Mug
I was plundered from JORVIK Viking Centre Mug
This was an original design from JORVIK’s early years in the 1980s, rediscovered on a mug deep within the bowels of the Coppergate Centre’s maintenance department. The familiar icon – a graphic rendering of Erik Bloodaxe’s head – was associated with JORVIK for many years, and indeed, still appears on the brown signs on the A64 leading into York. This is sure to be a favourite of all the Viking enthusiasts who visited JORVIK as a child.
The mug also features JORVIK Viking Centre’s anniversary logo for 2024, celebrating 40 years of wows!
